Inoue Kikuko - Belldandy
Touma Yumi - Urd
Hisakawa Aya - Skuld
Kikuchi Masami - Keiichi
Most other characters only appear in a few songs. Vocals are listed alphabetically by romanized title. Also, if you see the abbreviation "GFC", this refers to Goddess Family Club, a vocal group consisting of Inoue Kikuko, Touma Yumi, and Hisakawa Aya.
Each entry lists the song title, a translation of the song, the singer, the album, and then a brief, opinionated descrption. If you have RealPlayer, you can also listen to a clip of the song via a clip from Pony Canyon's site. Enjoy. (In a few cases I was not able to find the original singer. In this case I have left it blank; please let me know if you have this information!
Ah! My Goddess
(Ah! My Goddess)
Vocals: Hidaka Noriko (as Belldandy), Matsui Naoko (as Urd), Yokoyama Chisa (as Megumi)
Album: Aa! Megami-sama
Translated Lyrics
The last song on the original Aa! Megami-sama album. Since
the first album did not use the original seiyuu, this song
feels somehow... different from the other songs. Perhaps
that's why I don't like this song as much. (Another reason,
of course, is that there's no Skuld ^_-).
Aijou
(Feeling of Love)
Vocals: Inoue Kikuko
Album: Megami no Kimochi Single (B-Side)
Listen to a Clip
Translated Lyrics
An interesting song that starts out with an a capella
chorus, then a series of spoken stanzas by Belldandy.
Not until halfway through the song does she actually
start singing. Poetic and interesting, but definitely
not her best single.
Anata no Baasutei
(Your Birthday)
Vocals: Inoue Kikuko
Album: Anata no Baasutei Single
Listen to a Clip
Translated Lyrics
A cute song as Belldandy describes what she would
do for Keiichi's birthday. Fairly slow, and melodic.
Not one of my favorites, but it's still a good song.
Kind of makes you wish your significant other were
as devoted as Belldandy, huh? ^^;;
Boku to Ikiru Koto ga Kimi no Shiawase
(Living with Me is Your Happiness)
Vocals: Inoue Kikuko
Album: Megami wa Utau Single (B-Side)
Listen to a Clip
Translated Lyrics
A very sad song that is still fast-paced. It delves
into the nature of Keiichi and Belldandy's relationship
and their forgotten past. Well-sung and emotional, but
I think that Keiichi's version (the acoustic one, see
below) just fits the song's theme better.
Boku to Ikiru Koto ga Kimi no Shiawase
(Living with Me is Your Happiness)
Vocals: Kikuchi Masami
Album: Aa! Megami-sama Ongakuhen Vol. 2
Listen to a Clip
Translated Lyrics
An acoustic version of Belldandy's song "Boku to
Ikiru Koto ga Kimi no Shiawase", sung by Keiichi. It's
an incredibly sad and emotional song; in short, excellent.
Kikuchi Masami's singing really brings out the meaning of
this song very well. However, since the lyrics were meant
to be from Belldandy's point of view, some of them are a bit
confusing when being sung by Keiichi.

a nice song to relax to.
Cookie's Story

A song sung completely a capella, it describes

The ending theme to the Chichai tte Koto wa Benri Da Ne TV series.
Straight fun J-Pop; what more can you ask for? I guarantee that after
listening to this song a few times you'll wander around humming to
yourself "Denwa denwa shite ne mainichi...".
Denwa Shite Gan-chan

show's ending theme. It's even got the recorder in it!
Fortune Smiled on You

An interesting, almost pseudo-techno song by
Urd. Fast-paced and with lots of English thrown
in. The lyrics were written by Touma Yumi.
Hanabira no Kioku
(Memory of Fireworks)
Vocals: Touma Yumi
Album: Fortune Smiled On You Single (B-Side)

Translated Lyrics
A relatively normal song to go along with Fortune
Smiled On You, this song desribes the relationship
between Urd and Troubador (a character in the manga).
Lyrics were written by Touma Yumi.
High Quality Song
(High Quality Song)
Vocals: Asami Junko (Mishima Sayoko)
Album: Tokuten Ou
Listen to a Clip
Translated Lyrics
A song by Mishima Sayoko; what more needs to be said?
You know that it'll be very... shall we say, aggressive?
Asami Junko is a much better singer than I would've
guessed just watching the OAVs. The lyrics, too, fit
the song perfectly; they describe Sayoko's character in
a humorous yet entirely accurate way.
Hoshizora Shoukan
(Summoning Starry Skies)
Vocals: Touma Yumi

Translated Lyrics
This song is basically Urd telling Keiichi that he
better do something about his relationship with Belldandy.
Then again, aren't a lot of her songs about that? Fast-
paced with an uplifting chorus melody, this is one of the
better Urd image songs.

Poor Urd. She just sounds so exasperated ^_-. This is an extremely
funny song that basically sums up the A!MS story, from Urd's perspective.
You just know it's going to be a little skewed ^_-. As for controversy,
the lyrics list "Ah! My Goddess", but Touma-san sings "Oh! My Goddess".
That's just adding fuel to the fire...
Hottokenai No Sa (GFC and Megamisama Okkaketai)

A redone version of Hottokenai No Sa with everybody from Fujishima Kosuke
to Kikuchi Masami to the GFC singing. Apparently a lot of anime company
executives were invited along to sing/speak in the background. Just as funny,
if not funnier, than the original -- you can even hear Touma-san mess up
in one place!

A Skuld image song about bicycles in the style of
a 50's rock song. You can almost hear the Buddy Holly

A slow song sung by Belldandy as she watches

Urd, in classic Urd style, shows that she's just
a little aggressive as she tells the listener

but Touma-san sings "Oh my God!". Again with the
controversy...

A whimsical song as Skuld describes making

This is, without a doubt, my FAVORITE A!MS song ever made. It's
supposed to be, like the title implies, a love song between
Keiichi and Belldandy, but it turns out to be more like a picture
in music of their relationship. Throw in funny cameos from Megumi,
Urd, a mouse who may be Gan-chan, and Skuld, and you've got a song
that manages to be both humorous and touching.
